Founded in 2008, Legacy Fiberoptics acquired the rights to service the discontinued NetTest, Laser Precision and Corning optical product lines that had previously been manufactured at the Utica, New York facility.
The company consists of a group of former Laser Precision, GN NetTest and Anritsu employees who have over eighty five years of combined experience in the fiber optic industry.
The facility maintains over three million meters of characterized fiber; we stock OEM parts and in many cases, perform repairs down to component level.
In addition to the GN NetTest and Laser Precision Products, Legacy Fiberoptics can perform repairs and calibrations for many of the Corning, Siecor and Siemens multitesters manufactured during the 1990's and early 2000's, as they were manufactured by the Utica facility.
